📱 Information We Collect

We may collect the following information during your use of the Qurkle app:

• Phone Number and Email Address – for authentication and account recovery.
• Location Data – only if you grant permission, used strictly to match you with nearby users. We do not track or store your movement.
• Profile Information – such as name, age, photos, and preferences, provided by you for matching purposes.
• Messages and Chat Content – messages you send are securely stored and transmitted over HTTPS. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted, and may be accessed by authorized administrators for moderation, debugging, or abuse prevention during the testing phase.

🔐 How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Match you with other users based on preferences and proximity
• Enable chat and interaction within the app
• Maintain app performance and improve the experience
• Contact you if necessary regarding your account or app use

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

🔒 Data Security

• All data is transmitted securely using HTTPS.
• Stored data is protected through Firebase’s encryption-at-rest.
• Only authorized personnel may access user content, and only when necessary.

🛑 Testing Disclaimer

As Qurkle is currently in a test phase, some features (including data deletion and full privacy controls) may not yet be finalized. Your feedback is welcome to help us improve.
